One of New England’s most dominant faceoff men is heading to the Ivy League with junior midfielder Eli Friedman’s (Boston, Mass.) commitment to Cornell last week.
Friedman had a breakout sophomore year at Belmont Hill this past spring, winning over 70 percent of his faceoffs while also adding three goals and two assists.
He followed that up with a great summer playing for 3D New England, where he impressed in front of sidelines full of Division 1 coaches.
After being contacted by several Ivy League schools on Sept. 1, Friedman ultimately chose to commit to the Big Red.
