The rising junior summer club season is often called the pressure season because it is the first time that college coaches can start communicating with high school players.
Out of St. Sebastian's, numerous players were making noise with colleges this summer, including attackman Ty Curry, who's successfully made the journey from a St. Sebs middle-schooler to a Notre Dame commit.
“I was excited during the summer when I started to hear, from coaches, that they were seeing from Ty everything that we had seen,” St. Sebs coach Adam White said. “I knew if college coaches saw in the summer what we had seen from him his first few years with us, that he would get the interest that he did.”
White said he first noticed the potential Curry had when would practice with the varsity team as an eighth-grader.
