Sacred Heart charged through its conference last year. From March 9 through the MAAC tournament, the Pioneers won 11 straight games -- and a championship.
The average margin of victory in that streak was over six goals. The Pioneers also took home a wealth of individual MAAC hardware, including Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year in Morgan O’Reilly and Zach Buffington, respectively, and Coach of the Year Jon Basti.
