In the region’s Class of ’26, there are six goalies already committed to Division 1 programs.
Most played on teams that are prep or high school powers — Loomis Chaffee, New Hampton, Ridgefield (Conn.), New Canaan (Conn.) and La Salle Academy (R.I.).
Then there’s Brayden Holt, who played on a team that won three games in two years.
Holt has moved on from Brooks, where he underwent a regular trial by fire in the Independent School League — but valued those largely winless two years on the field and off under coach Ian Speliotis, who was a big reason he landed there.
