The Clark University women’s lacrosse team has a group motto: “Last one. Best one.”
For every drill at practice, the last repetition needs to be the best one. When it’s the last quarter or the last minute of a game, it needs to be the best one.
Senior Erin Lucas (Ludlow, Mass.) agrees -- if it’s your last season, it needs to be your best one. In the early going, she’s making sure she holds up her end of the bargain.
“I feel like a completely different player since, even, my junior year,” she said.
