The Lakes Region is back for 2025 and the northernmost prep league in the country has plenty of talent to showcase.
While most outside the region have known it as a secondary prep league, the Lakes Region’s growth in the past five years makes that statement quite antiquated. Multiple Division 1 players have been developed up north and college coaches have taken notice.
Last season the Lakes Region sent more than 30 players on to the next level and nearly half of those guys are now at D-1 programs.
In the first part of our two-part season preview, we take a closer look at the four top teams entering the new season.
