When powerhouse Medfield moved down to MIAA Division 3 in 2022, championships were expected immediately.
It took them two years to claim that first D-3 title, but after winning it all last year, the Warriors look poised to do it again, and add another state banner to the nine they own.
Medfield finished 20-3 last season after a tournament run where it outscored opponents 90-23, capped by a 13-4 win against Scituate in the final. The Warriors return 26 players from that team, including 12 seniors.
“We should have a lot of experience to lean on,” Medfield coach John Isaf said.
