One of the biggest offseason questions in the Independent School League, and prep lacrosse in general, was answered this past week when Mike Silipo was named the new head coach at St. Sebastian’s.
Silipo, a longtime Boston University assistant coach, was one of several coaches with college backgrounds interviewed by St. Sebastian's after Adam White departed following the conclusion of the 2025 season.
He takes over a program that has reached the semifinals of the ISL championship tournament four straight times, and helped produce dozens of college-committed players.
We had a chance to catch up with the newest coach in the ISL last week, just days after he was appointed.
