With just two teams in the preseason Top 20, it's safe to say that Division 1 men's lacrosse in New England is not in the national spotlight right now.
However, there are still 15 teams in seven conferences that are set to write their own stories this spring, whether the ending includes a league title, NCAA tournament bid or, simply, improvement.
Just like no team has lost a game yet, no prognosticator has missed on a prediction yet.
Here are five (somewhat) bold predictions for New England's D-1 teams this season.
