The new college season is officially underway across all three NCAA divisions.
While the college season is in its infancy, there are still teams that are sorting their lineups and deciding on playing time even after the first few weeks of the season. Other teams haven't even played yet due to the massive amount of snow on the ground.
Whether it’s that player’s overall talent, a depth chart decimated by graduation, a team in need of a difference-maker — or any combination thereof — playing time is on the table for many New England freshmen.
