The opening weekend of the prep school girls lacrosse season wasn't overloaded with action, but it did feature two matchups between teams who began the season in our Top 10.
Perennial Independent School League champion Noble and Greenough was impressive in its 10-3 win at Founders League champ Hotchkiss on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Deerfield defended its home turf and navigated an important 11-9 win over Dexter Southfield.
