July 1 is a weighty day on the lacrosse recruiting calendar.
That’s when programs in the NESCAC, the strongest league in Division 3 and one whose 11 teams roster scores of players from the region annually, share their pre-read academic evaluations and are able to offer roster spots to rising seniors.
This opening week of July has seen nine NESCAC programs add 27 players from the region’s Class of ‘27 to their rosters.
