
It has almost been a year since the region’s top prospects in the class of 2027 became eligible to commit to Division 1 college lacrosse programs.
Since then, our commitment tracker has been updated weekly with their respective decisions. The list — which includes over 265 players — features a lot of interesting trends.
There are Division 1 schools that plucked a large percentage of their ‘27 class from the area. Certain club programs continue to flex their muscles as college factories. And there are intriguing commits that are still being made into August.
There is a lot of anticipation swirling around Sept. 9, the new date that rising juniors can make contact with Division 1 coaches. But now is a great time to take a step back and analyze what the ‘27 class looks like regarding college advancement at all levels.
