There will be a new face in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) starting in 2027-28.
North Yarmouth Academy recently announced that its boys and girls lacrosse programs — which currently compete in the Maine Principal's Association (MPA) — will join the NEPSAC after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
NYA, a day and boarding school located in Yarmouth, Maine, is home to over 400 students from early childhood through high school. Despite low numbers — the upper school’s enrollment is only 165 — the program has a history of success on the lacrosse fields.
The boys program is months removed from its second consecutive Class C state championship, while the girls squad came up just short on the very stage.
