Down by seven goals to Grafton in the first quarter of their MIAA Central/West Division final, Wahconah looked to be headed out of the playoffs.
Grafton may have put the Warriors down, but they were not out.
Lacrosse, like many things in life, is all about adjustments. The defense shifted their matchups, the offense began to hum and Wahconah found itself up 16-14 as the clock slowly ticked down in the fourth quarter.
That’s the way the game ended.
