High school All-American selections were announced last week by USA Lacrosse. This post will look at the boys recognized from Central Mass., Maine and New Hampshire.
All-Americans are players who exhibit superior skills and techniques, and possess exceptional game sense and knowledge. An All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, sportsmanship on the field, and high standards of academic achievement in the classroom.
The Bob Scott Award and Coach of the Year are also included. The Bob Scott Award annually recognizes one player from each area who goes “above and beyond” in service to his team, school and community.
Players are listed with class year, position and school.
