The 12th annual Boston Lax All-American game did away with the MIAA vs. ISL format which it had carried the previous four years.
Instead, Wednesday's contest saw all of the selected players randomly divided into two teams, as it used to be in the days of yore – a home team, “Team Scally,” and an away team, “Team Boston.”
It resulted in an all-time classic game and the first overtime game in its history.
Our coverage will be divided into two posts. This one will include game coverage and a closer look at the standouts from winner Team Boston.
