KINGSTON, R.I. — This year, the Bulldog Brawl was my first stop on the summer club circuit.
Several local club teams were competing for the event’s ‘27 and ‘28 championships on the campus of the University of Rhode Island, instead of Bryant University, which hosted the younger age groups, this past Saturday and Sunday.
The range of clubs at the AA level was notable, with squads like the Fighting Clams, Penguins, R.I. Bulldogs, Team CT and Eclipse, as well as Coyotes and Cavalry LC.
This year, I'm starting my evaluations with the Class of ‘28.
