Normally, younger siblings tend to follow their older siblings. For Natasha and Sophia Gorriaran, the opposite was true.
Sophia, who is now a sophomore at Moses Brown School (R.I.), began playing lacrosse in the second grade, after she saw some local kids playing at the park and wanted to give the sport a try.
Natasha, a senior at Moses Brown and Sophia’s older sister, came to the sport a little bit later.
“Sophia played for a few games and then the next year I was like, ‘OK. I’m either watching Sophia play or I'm going to play with her,’” said Natasha Gorriaran. “So I decided to try it as well and I really liked it; I fell in love with the game from there.”
