It is no secret that some of the best high school lacrosse in New England is played at the prep level.
A quick glance at our commitment trackers from the class of 2027 and 2026 supports that belief. It is not uncommon for some of the top NESCAC programs to dole out at least five commitments each year. Some — as we’ve recently highlighted — yield even more.
But just because a prospect doesn’t play prep, it doesn’t mean their college dreams are over. We see stars from the MIAA, for instance, continue their careers at the college level all the time. The same can be said regarding the CIAC and other public school associations.
This particular club program has that very mentality intertwined with its identity.
