Like many things, this next chapter of Griffin Schutz's story starts with a dream.
"One night in September, I had a dream that I woke up from and I said 'Berkshire,'" said Schutz, a new Berkshire assistant coach. "I'm dead serious. I thought, 'That is weird.' So, I reached out to coach (Chris) Perkins."
Before he was starring at the University of Virginia, Schutz (Trumbull, Conn.) was one of the top lacrosse prospects in the nation at Deerfield.
"We were talking and we were having a great conversation," said Schutz. "And it all really aligned. Berkshire was probably my second choice behind Deerfield, way back in the day.
