DEDHAM, Mass. -- About a month ago, two-time ISL tournament champion Noble and Greenough faced Rivers in a regular-season game here. The Bulldogs came away with the 12-7 home victory over Rivers.
Fast forward a few weeks -- same teams, same venue, but a much different result.
Coming off an impressive win over St. Sebastian's, many expected fourth-seeded Nobles to take care of business against No. 5 Rivers on Wednesday and advance to the semifinal round. Instead of taking care of business, this quickly turned into a kitchen sink game for the Bulldogs, who fell behind 10-1 in the second quarter.
They used their kitchen sink and grabbed a few from the neighbors. At halftime, they possibly ran down the street to Lowe's and grabbed all the kitchen sinks on display to try and come back in this game.
