DEVENS, Mass. — The Legacy Lacrosse Elite Showcase, which concluded last week, is the largest club team tournament in New England.
Like in years past, there were a lot of Double-A teams to see, which is always exciting. Laxachusetts hosts the event and had two teams in the '27 AA group: Laxachusetts Black and Laxachusetts Yellow. Teams like 2 Way, 3D New England, HGR, Stallions, Eclipse and NH Tomahawks all fielded strong '27 teams in an effort to unseat the hosts.
Now, this is a recruiting tournament, and most of the players are still looking for their next opportunity at the college level. Still, multiple high-profile players have already made their commitments but are still playing this summer going into their senior seasons.
The Legacy Tournament posts will be split up by age group and position. Today’s post highlights the top midfielders I saw from the Class of ’27, listed with position, school, club and college commitment (where applicable).
