The final game of the spring saw the Founders League title on the line on a steamy Wednesday in Windsor, Conn., with second-seeded Loomis Chaffee hosting fourth-seeded Avon Old Farms as it chased after a third straight league title.
After a taut, defensive first half, littered with mini-runs, quality saves, face-off trade-offs and moments of magic, Loomis Chaffee got the separation it needed right after halftime on its way to a 10-5 win and third straight league title.
