With new Division 1 lacrosse seasons upon us, we are previewing every men’s and women’s team in New England, by conference.
This post focuses on the region’s four women’s teams in a beefed-up MAAC.
Sacred Heart and Merrimack join the league from the Northeast Conference, where Sacred Heart nearly won a second straight championship last spring.
Now the Pioneers will try to measure up to Fairfield, which saw its streak of five straight MAAC titles end with a loss to Niagara in last year’s tournament final.
