The best teams keep winning and the games just keep getting bigger.
The higher seed won out in each of the round of 16 games in the MIAA Division 1 boys playoffs, setting up a bevy of high-profile quarterfinal matchups.
One quarterfinal will be played tonight: No. 6 Lincoln-Sudbury at No. 3 Acton-Boxborough (6 p.m.). The other three – No. 5 Hingham at No. 4 Franklin, No. 7 Xaverian at No. 2 BC High, and No. 8 North Andover at No. 1 St. John’s Prep – will be played Saturday.
