The final weeks of any season are usually highlighted by rivalry games and showdowns for league titles, and sometimes those are one and the same.
That was certainly the case this week, and it just so happened four of the most noteworthy contests happened on Tuesday.
There was a matchup between two Division 1 contenders when Concord-Carlisle traveled to Dual County rival Acton-Boxborough. Nauset pulled out a thriller at Falmouth with the Cape & Islands title on the line.
Billerica Memorial extended its winning streak with a league-clinching win against Andover, and Medfield flexed its muscle against Lincoln-Sudbury in a showdown between the top-ranked teams in their respective divisions.
