The opening rounds of the MIAA girls lacrosse state tournaments have passed – with a minimum of surprises.
The contenders in each division took care of their early business handily, which means we’re on course to see some excellent battles in the later rounds.
Top seeds Concord-Carlisle (Division 1), Notre Dame Academy (Division 2), Medfield (Division 3) and Cohasset (Division 4) lead the way as tournaments reach their rounds of 16, which begin on Tuesday.
With two rounds of games in the books, our MIAA takeaways.
