With prep school teams across the country beginning their seasons, the next few days make up the “week zero” of the prep season.
A few lucky teams are on spring trips and starting their seasons in warmer climates, but the spring trip has become a bogeyman of sorts based on past results. Just this past Wednesday, Choate dropped its season-opening game, 8-6, to Springside Chestnut Hill in Pennsylvania.
Will that trend continue this weekend? Or will the rest of the country bend the knee to New England prep lacrosse once again?
