It was looking like a fairly uneventful Saturday slate -- until Governors decided to flip the script and slay another top-tier Independent School League foe.
This time it was St. Sebastian's, which scrambled and fought valiantly to come back and try to tie the game in the dying embers of the fourth quarter, but it finished one goal shy.
Tabor continued to dominate, following up its midweek win over Sebs by putting the clamps on Roxbury Latin in settled sets, and scoring more than 10 goals for the 13th time this season.
Elsewhere, a cross-league battle between the Lakes Region and the NESLL ended with the Northerners claiming victory as New Hampton edged Pingree at home. All that and more in our Monday prep takeaways.
