Going through the recruitment process, St. Sebastian’s long-stick midfielder Sam Weston (Westwood, Mass.) wanted two things from the school he would ultimately choose.
He wanted 1) a strong academic school that could put him in the right place after college, and 2) he wanted to be surrounded by teammates and coaches who would support him on and off the field, and with whom he'd enjoy the experience.
Making that choice was stressful after playing so many prospect days, tournaments and showcases, as well as reaching out to different coaches via email. Weston narrowed his choices down to two schools; one stood out and he couldn’t get his mind off it:
Dartmouth.
