It’s a league of schools unlike any other, with a name that belies its significance in the cultural landscape of college lacrosse.
The Division 3 New England Small College Athletic Conference is, for many players across the region and country, one of the most desirable leagues in the NCAA.
The thing most of those players don’t know is how the admissions process works, because it is very different from Division 1, Division 2 and even most Division 3 schools.
So, in an effort to uncover some of the mysteries that surround this group of academic titans, we talked with several coaches in the NESCAC about their recruiting process and how it differs from other schools, leagues and divisions of the sport.
