For the fifth summer in a row, I embarked on a journey across the New England summer recruiting landscape.
This summer, I went all in on the Class of ‘26, only to come out of the journey completely sold on the quality of the Class of ‘27. I mean, this group is really focused on excellence -- something that is inconceivable for most people who remember being 16-years-old and growing up riding bikes instead of being online.
It’s really a testament to the overall development of players in this region, thanks to the influence of excellent high school and club coaches.
Again, I don’t create rankings and I don’t use stars. For this "Top Three" series, I picked players based on how impressed I was on the day or days that I saw them. No one else influenced my rankings; these are my opinions as a 12-year college coach and a five-year high school coach.
