The MIAA Division 1 final is set and what a final it is. It's the state's top public program, Lincoln-Sudbury, against Catholic Conference power BC High on Friday (4:30 p.m.) at Worcester State.
However, this game is so much more than public vs. Catholic. It's the culmination of years of work from L-S coach Brian Vona and his staff to get back to the final for the first time since 2019, and BC High's chance to win its first title since 2018.
The true force driving both of these teams is the players, who have found themselves with an opportunity to bring glory to their programs.
