The NCAA Division 3 final four takes place in Salem, Va., this weekend and boasts a heavy New England flavor.
Three teams from the NESCAC – top-seeded Middlebury, second-seeded Tufts and fourth-seeded Colby – are joined by fifth-seeded Gettysburg.
Middlebury will try to take a step closer to its fourth straight national title when it plays Colby in Friday’s first semifinal, with Tufts and Gettysburg facing off in the late game. The championship is on Sunday (noon).
