It's been a fairly raucous week in the recruiting world, as both junior and senior players across the country are seeking to cement their commitments before the holidays arrive.
To that end, one of the more notable commitments in the region has come from the Lakes Region, as St. Paul's junior goaltender Ezra Williams has committed to Vermont.
Williams is set to take over the starting netminder duties from last year's stalwart keeper, Luka Clark, who led the Pelicans to the Lakes Region title and has now graduated.
Williams has an interesting blend of skills. He plays his club ball for one of the top teams in Atlanta, Thunder ATL, despite being a Vermont native.
