It’s been just 1½ months since champions were crowned in MIAA girls lacrosse.
In terms of recruiting, the start of August marks the calm before the next storm. Starting on Sept. 1, high school juniors can be offered – and can accept – scholarships and placement with college programs.
But most of the region’s rising seniors who’ll be playing in college have already made their commitments, and that gives us one window into the 2026 season, one that features some modest realignment.
