It is almost September, which means the club lacrosse summer season is just about winding down.
Most showcases and tournaments took place in June and July. Prospects in New England now enter a reset period before the fall season.
Not only is summer club lacrosse a great avenue for skill development in the offseason, but it is also an opportunity for some of the top players in the region to play in front of college coaches.
That was particularly true for the Class of 2028, who will become eligible to commit to Division 1 colleges on Sept. 9, a change from last year’s Sept. 1 contact date.
It begs the ultimate question: Which clubs total the most commitments? As the ‘27s begin their senior year in the coming weeks, we already dove into some general takeaways from their recruiting trends — including some clubs that have dominated the commitment space.
For the purpose of these rankings, I took a look at New England Lacrosse Journal’s commitment trackers from the last three years — the ‘27s, ‘26s and ‘25s — and analyzed what clubs produced the most commitments.
