Chris Brown was an assistant coach on the Roxbury Latin staff during the 2025 season, and he said it was his favorite year working with then-head coach Mike Higgins.
One thing he was very proud of was how the coaching staff trusted one another and collaborated. He experienced what it was like to truly work together toward a common goal.
This season, Brown will lead the way as the head coach, and he wants to continue those collaborative efforts with the coaching staff, captains and senior leaders.
“It’s not me as a one-man show,” he said. “It’s really, who are we as coaches? Who are we as a program? How do we set up our captains and seniors up for success as they set the culture and the tone?”
