While the sheer number of top-tier contests this past weekend wasn't very high, there were still several marquee games to enjoy.
The most impactful was an incredible upset in the Founders League that saw the No. 1-ranked team in the region fall to a long-time rival, with Avon Old Farms upsetting Loomis Chaffee.
The Independent School League, not to be outdone, had several notable results this weekend as well, with St. Sebastian's winning a top-of-the-table thriller, Thayer getting back to .500 and BB&N earning a big league win.
