SUDBURY, Mass. — The recent New England Lacrosse Showcase once again offered a sneak preview of some of next season’s top squads in the MIAA, and beyond.
NELS is a chance for high school teams to unite after their seasons and compete without their graduated seniors and coaches. It’s a competitive atmosphere that tells us a lot about the teams and the players from the rising sophomore, junior and senior classes.
Our first report takes a look at Reading Memorial (Mass.), which last season went 17-4 and lost in the quarterfinal round in a very competitive MIAA Division 2.
