The prep ranks are still getting used to a new conference in the region -- the New England Scholastic Lacrosse League.
Now entering its fourth season, the NESLL is home to several teams that were previously without league affiliation -- and is growing annually. It's Pingree, Dexter Southfield, Portsmouth Abbey, Cushing, Austin Prep, Northfield-Mount Hermon and newcomer Phillips Exeter.
Last season, Pingree won the league championship with a 3-1 victory over Dexter Southfield in the final. In an effort to get a better feel for this fledgling league, we surveyed all of the coaches and asked them which opposing player in the NESLL they feel is the most impactful.
Three players received two votes, and several others warranted individual mentions. Let's get into it.
