The running joke at Belmont Hill practices was that head coach Tim Sullivan never brought a stick to the field “because I can’t throw and catch,” he said.
But he can coach. His 17-year tenure produced a record of 211-47, six Independent School League titles and 12 All-American players.
Sullivan confirmed after the season, which saw Belmont Hill fall to eventual champion Tabor in the ISL championship tournament semifinals, that he was stepping down from the job to spend more time with his family and follow the pursuits of his own children.
