It may have stopped raining, and games are well underway, but there is still time to praise top seniors across the MIAA.
In the spirit of honoring the seniors as they enter their final seasons, I’d like to shine a spotlight on players that I have enjoyed watching for the last few years.
Utility midfielders are the kind of players no one really talks about. They don't get many goals or assists. They are the grinders on the wing, the transition kick-starters and the lockdown shorties. However, at every level, they are the most integral part of the engine of a team. In the MIAA, there are tons of players who are defined by their distinction as a do-it-all sort of middie.
Here are three of my favorites who are entering their final year of high school competition.
