Things have really slowed down for Class of ‘27 recruiting as we finish the first week of November.
So far, nearly 100 high school and prep school juniors have made their college commitments since first contact was allowed Sept. 1, or earlier for the service academies. There are still a few weekends left of fall tournaments to contend with, and then we are entering the holiday season.
This week's tracker examines two more '27 commitments, plus two significant flips in the '26 class.
Both '26 flips -- the third and fourth such occurrences in the last three weeks -- involve the University of Virginia, a program that is repeatedly getting top-tier talent in its recruiting classes, but not necessarily putting it all together in its efforts to get back to championship weekend.
