Last week, the NCAA's Division 3 Championships Committee met to discuss changes ot thier format for all sports.
While there were some interesting changes proposed for sports outside of lacrosse (like bench limits being enforced on sports like baseball, basketball and ice hockey), the expansion of the bench size in men's and women's lacrosse was discussed and approved for a larger size.
This is significant because it also allows entire D-3 teams to travel for the playoffs, which has been a topic of concern for all of the teams that make the NCAA tournament, as previous limits were restrictive not just for players, but also additional sideline personnel.
